However SASSO is deployed, it is an alluring lighting solution for rich interior designs. As an addition to the XAL SASSO family of products, SASSO 40 trim/trimless is a small, flexible spotlight with a minimal depth that makes it particularly attractive. It is therefore an ideal lighting solution for ceiling construction requiring a very low installed depth. As a built-in version of this diverse spotlight series, SASSO 40 blends harmoniously into the overall design and is available in a range of colours, with the housing colours white, black and silver being ideally suited for perfect combination with a selection of varied coloured reflectors. Due to the high-quality lens system, SASSO allows for precisely directed light and can be used optionally as a spotlight, downlight, wallwasher or wallwasher floor. Sensors or emergency insets are also available as an option. In all light colours – 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K or Colour Warm Dimming – the series is also characterised by very good colour rendering up to CRI ≥ 95 (2-SDCM). Installation is tool-free using a ball snap system. On the SASSO 40 adjustable version, an innovative, patented rotating/swivel joint makes it easy to adjust this directional spotlight. The innovation includes the addition of emergency insets and sensors. The round emergency light insert can be added to a lighting system without tools. The battery life is three hours – the time duration the inset can be disconnected from the power supply. In addition, special sensors further extend the SASSO family of products through smart light control and key data collection. The BASIC sensor allows dynamic adjustment of lighting to the ambient brightness and activity in the room. The PRO version also measures values such as temperature, air quality, humidity and noise level. This data not only provides important insights into prevailing room utilisation and conditions, but can also support long-term energy savings.
