Winners of the 2026 National Wood Construction Award

For the past fourteen years, the National Wood Construction Award has been celebrating the most outstanding architectural projects using timber in France. Year after year, this award highlights the richness and diversity of a rapidly growing sector, driven by architects, engineers and craftspeople who are reinventing our relationship with construction.

This exhibition invites you to discover, through a photographic journey, the eight winning projects from the 2026 edition. From multi-occupancy housing and public facilities to refurbishments and new builds: each of these projects demonstrates a rigorous approach to timber as a material, combining environmental performance, quality of use and innovative construction techniques.

As you view the photographs, you will be immersed in the details of the structures, the texture of the materials and the way these buildings are integrated into their local context. A unique opportunity to appreciate just how much timber, an age-old material, continues to inspire contemporary architecture that is resolutely forward-looking.
